Then Otto Rohwedder, who had been working on the project for 16 years, produced a machine that cut a loaf into individual slices. I bring him to your attention, Gemini, because I think you are in a phase of your life when you could very possibly create an innovation that would be as intimately revolutionary as Rohwedder’s was for the masses. Italy loves Mc Donald’s and Mc Donald’s loves Italy. Italian government decided to prize Mc Donald’s social loyalty with Mc Italy a brand new hamburger made with 100% italian products. It’s unuseless to say that it sucks. I tryed it yesterday night and it’s too dry, nothing compared to a gorgeus Big Mac. Italian government should definitely promote healthy italian food and Mc D’s should continue to produce those unhealthy but delicious burgers.

Today was a frozen but wonderful day to have a lunch @ a traditional trattoria above Iseo lake.

Just a quick visit to Naples to check some friends, spot the city and eat a lot of pizza & mozzarella di bufala. Naples has always that damned flavor: art, religion, Maradona.

“The Art of the Steal” is Don Argott’s brand new documentary based on Christopher Mason’s work. Just celebrated at Toronto, New York and AFI Film Festivals, the film is about the dramatic struggle for control of the Barnes Foundation, a private collection of art valued at more than $25 billion. In 1922, Dr. Albert C. Barnes formed a remarkable educational institution around his priceless collection of art, located just five miles outside of Philadelphia. Now, more than 50 years after Barnes’ death, a powerful group of moneyed interests have gone to court for control of the art, and intend to bring it to a new museum in Philadelphia.
